Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operation Officer
VIET HUNG URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT JSC (VIHAJICO) was established in 2004 under Decision No. 1430/QD-UB in June 25, 2004 by Hung Yen province’s People Committee approving project for investment and construction of Van Giang Tourism-Trade Urban Area Township.
Van Giang Urban Area Development is envisioned as a self-contained integrated master planned development in terms of environmental enrichment, provision of first class utilities, roads and traffic network catering to an increasing urban population growth. Vihajico has already commissioned CPG Consultants of Singapore to carry out the detailed 1/500 scale master plan. Full scale development work will start in first quarter of 2007 upon the completion of the detailed master plan by CPG.
Vihajico is seeking to recruit well-qualified and experienced foreign candidate to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operation Officer.
General responsibility:
The CEO/COO shall takes full responsibility for the day to day management and overseeing the company’s overall operations as well as ensuring that the key performance indicators set by the BOD / General Director are met. The CEO/COO has the authority to carry out these responsibilities, providing the general direction and implementing pro -active actions in order to accomplish VIHAJICO’s mission statement and vision.
Working location:
Hanoi, Vietnam with frequent travel to the site in Van Giang, Hung Yen Province.
Qualification & experience requirements
o Bachelor degree in related field is required. A Master degree is preferable.
o At least 10 years working experience in relevant position at the multinational company.
o Working experience in the real estate/ construction /urban town development field is preferable.
o Excellent understanding of the competitive industry environment and able to strengthen Vihajico’s strategic position in the market environment.
o Strong business acumen and possess people management skills with ability to gain the trust of Vihajico management and staff as well as external business partners and vendors.
o Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required.
o Strong demonstrated strategic, financial and conceptual skills, combined with a strong background in the real estate development area.
o Excellent demonstrated decision-making, problem solving and negotiating skills.
o Good communication and presentation skills in English.
o Excellent understanding on risk management issues relating to township development and ability to seek practical solutions and enhance service delivery to target customers.
o Ability to work under pressure and is well organized.

Position of Finance Director.

Vihajico is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Finance Director.
General duty:
Fully responsible for general and strategic management of related position of Vihajico in order to carry out company’s development mission, strategy and objectives.
Working location: Hanoi, Vietnam with frequent travel to the site in Van Giang, Hung Yen.
Some major task:
- Develop financial strategy and plan including short-term, long-term based on the Company’s business strategy such as fund raising, budget monitoring and evaluation and management.
- Maintaining good relationship and keep the regular contact with local and foreign investors to mobilize most efficient fund.
- Report and give consultation to the Board of Management on financial analysis and budget management.
Requirements:
- Masc. or Bsc. Degree in Finance and Accounting.
- At least 3 years experience in Financial and Accounting Management.
- Good knowledge of property market and investment law.
- Good working experience with Banks and local tax department is preferable.
- Good management and analytical skills. Strong computer skills.
- Excellent demonstrated decision-making and risk management skills are a must.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese are a must.
